about

“Gimme a Minute” by DJ Williams’ Shots Fired is an ode to female power and strength. The third track in a series of four cinematic-inspired songs paints the picture of ‘The Seductress,’ who is fierce and driving mirroring the strong women Williams cites in his life. Powered by flavors of 80s instrumental rock music, Williams crafted the tune after binge listening to ‘Synchronicity’ by The Police and taking note of the assertive riffs and unwavering attention-to-detail that are present throughout the iconic album. Joe Tatton shines on the organ throughout the track and the solid, feel-good vibes resonate in both the studio and live settings.
